La conversa is a warm and welcoming Bed and Breakfast located in Viareggio city centre, in a typical end of XIX Century Viareggio house.
It has recently been restored to offer 3 wide and bright double rooms,
with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, safe boxes and a touch of
old retro style.
The
main entrance looks at the two main roads leading to the interesting and
varied town market, only 150 m. away, which is also as a meeting and
exchange place for the people in past times. It is known as a fish
market, where all kind of local and fresh fish can be found. The beach
is easily reachable in 10 minutes both by car and on foot. You can reach
either the famous beaches or the most isolated and free beaches, laying
between the seaside and the wonderful Mediterranean woods.

The B&B
is located on the green and prosperous hills of Montalbano about 400 m
high (on whose tops will find "Il sasso del Diavolo" the devil's
stone, situated in the naturalistic park): this is The Renaissance's
and Etruscan country, surrounded by typical Tuscany landscape whose
colours conjugate the silver of the olive-trees leaves, and a wide range
of the green of pines, cypresses, oaks, acacias and long rows of the
grapes.
Its location in the heart of Tuscany make it possible for the tourist
both week-end and holidays visits to the most important town feature:
historic, art, cultural and offering relax and leisure, not to mention
other important places such as: Pistoia Montecatini Terme (famous for
its thermal water), Collodi (Pinocchio's town), Prato, Empoli, Vinci
(Leonardo's town), Montelupo Fiorentino (famous for the ceramics),
Firenze, Arezzo, Siena and so on.
After a nice day passed visiting the green hills or at the discovery of
the cities, you can relax in the swimming pool, or you can take a lovely
horse ride, or, why not!, taste a typical dish of our place like:
Bistecca alla Fiorentina, Panzanella, or minestra di pane known as
"Ribollita" and to finish Cantuccini with Vinsanto (typical Florentine
biscuits with the wellknown sweet wine).
At the end, you also have the chance to relax in our comfortable and
finely furnished bedrooms where you will enjoy the quiet music of
silence.

BED & BREAKFAST LA CORTE - CAPANNORI LUCCA (LUCCA)

by the green and the quiet of the Lucchese countryside, 4 kilometres far
from the Medieval walls of Lucca, you will find "La Corte", a typical
rustic building completely restored, trying to preserve the most
characteristic elements, such as the wooden-beam ceilings and the
"arches", respecting the rustic Lucchese style.
Staying at "La Corte", it is possible to take great pleasure in walking
on the green hills around or going on bike trips up to the town or to
the wonderful historical villas in the plain of Lucca (Villa Mansi,
Villa Reale, Villa Torrigiani are only some of them).
From the centre of Capannori (100 metres) you can benefit from a handy
bus service towards the historical centre of Lucca, or make use of the
one towards the towns of Florence, Pisa, Viareggio and Montecatini
Terme.
The completely restored B&B is endowed with 4 cosy and comfortable
bedrooms, each one with TV with satellite reception (and the possibility
to have an extra bed) and 2 large bathrooms.
It has a private parking-place.
There is also a kitchen entirely equipped our guests can use at any
time.
