Den Haag is a fantastic city. You can use Apartment Royal as a base visit Den Haag and the Netherlands for work, study or holiday. For our tall guests we can provide a bed up to 240 centimetres! Appartement Royal is situated on street level. It is served with a luxurious bathroom with shower, a complete kitchen, a comfortable living area and good beds for two adult guests. The B&B is a real monument of state. It is a doctors’ villa from 1923, designed by B.T. Boeyinga, an architect from the Amsterdam School. A well-known and interesting style used in the twenties from the former century, in and around Amsterdam. It is situated in rural Amsterdam (north), in quiet and peaceful surroundings. From l923 only doctors lived in the villa and they treated the people living here. My husband was the last one and when he died I changed the house (which is fully renovated) in a B&B. This is now since 3 years and guests from all over the world visited the place and want to come back. It even had an article in the Los Angeles Times. The villa has 3 guestrooms (l single) and a studio (the former praxis). The rooms and the whole house are decorated in an artistic style with art and antiques. The house has a wonderful big garden, just to sit in or the breakfast is served there. The studio has its own bathroom and kitchen. The breakfast is included and bountiful. Prices p.p. around E 40.=. The B&B has a free parking in front of the house. By city bus (which runs 4 or 5 times a hour) it is 15 min to the centre of Amsterdam which does not need any recommendation, going north you enter the "waterland" area, wonderful for biking, walking and touring through water and land.
