An avenue of century old lime trees leads to the château and has splendid views over a countryside that could only be Normandy. Argouges is set in lovely park and gardens that have evolved over the years to give a peaceful feeling of continuity to a family home, fashioned by time and lovingly cared for. Awarded 4 epis for comfort and charm, the whole château is at the disposal of our guests and we have tried to make it as welcoming as possible with an attention to detail. The salon is a pleasant room to relax in quietly, read and watch television, there is all sorts of local information in the library, or you can have a challenging game of pool in the billiard room. The other salon is where breakfast is served. The second floor has a suite of two double rooms that share a bathroom and another double room with a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. The third floor has two double bedrooms and a bedroom for three people, each with their own bathrooms. There is a hectare of garden to wander about in, garden furniture and croquet.
