(Provence) Close to Avignon, Nimes, Arles, Pont du Gard and only ten minutes from the beautiful town of Uzes, capitol of the ancient Duchy, les Marronniers has been our home since 1989, and after ten years of restoring it, we decided to open it up to a small number of paying guests. We thought about it a lot and were wondering how we would feel with strangers in our home. Then we realized that Les Marronniers has always been full of visitors. The difference was that they were family and friends. So we decided to think of our guests as friends coming to spend sometime with us. This has worked very well, both for us and for our guests. More importantly, many of our guests have become our friends. In fact, our website (which we hope you will visit www.les.marronnier.12stay.co.uk) was created by a guest who loved his visit with us. The real sign of happy visitors is that they come back - - and they do!

Languedoc-Roussillon (South of France) Close 4 km away from the "Cité de Carcassonne", you will find a magnificent family-run estate of 40 ha. It is adjacent to an 18 holes golf course. You will reside in a lovely mansion from the XIXth century surrounded by a lavish 2 ha park offering a large swimming-pool, an ornamental lake, a rose garden and walkways.
